About Me
Hi, I’m Ciara Cleary, founder of Social Waves Creative, where strategy meets storytelling to turn brands into experiences people actually want to follow.
I help businesses grow their online presence, attract the right audience, and turn attention into real results—whether that means generating sales, leads, or loyal customers. From content creation and social media management to paid advertising and digital strategy.
My career didn’t start in marketing. I earned a BS in Genetic, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from Coastal Carolina University and a MHA with a concentration in Marketing from Liberty University. While I originally envisioned a future in healthcare, my experience working in medical marketing introduced me to the world of social media and digital strategy. It was there that I discovered a passion for helping businesses connect with people through creative, impactful marketing.
Since then, I’ve built years of experience in social media marketing, specializing in social media management, content creation, UGC, TikTok Shop, influencer partnerships, and growth-focused digital strategies. Today, I work with brands across a variety of industries, helping them cut through the noise with content that connects, strategies that scale, and marketing that drives growth.
When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my fiancé, family, friends, and our two dogs, exploring the outdoors around Summerville, traveling, or enjoying Charleston’s incredible food scene.
